The UK deficit reaches £2.1 billion, exceeding expectations

On Thursday, a group of more than 150 Haitian nationals were deported from the United States and arrived in Haiti. This marks the initial wave of deportations following the U.S. administration's decision not to renew the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) previously granted to Haitian migrants.

The termination of this status affects a population of more than 300,000 Haitians in the United States who have now transitioned to undocumented status, leaving them vulnerable to removal as U.S. immigration authorities begin executing deportations.
