Más de la mitad de los trabajadores en Colombia sigue sin cotizar y sin una pensión garantizada: la informalidad llegó al 54,6%, según el Dane

According to data released by the Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística (Dane) in its technical bulletin on informal employment for the mobile quarter of May to July 2026, labor informality in Colombia reached 54.6%.

This rate indicates that more than half of the country's workforce continues to operate without making social security contributions and lacks a guaranteed pension.
