Masauni urges ozone-friendly product choices

Tanzanian Minister of State in the Vice-President’s Office (Union and Environment), Engineer Hamad Masauni, has called on citizens to prioritize the use of ozone-friendly products. The appeal was made in Dar es Salaam as part of an effort to mitigate environmental damage caused by ozone-depleting refrigerant gases.

The initiative focuses on encouraging consumers to select equipment that does not rely on harmful substances. By promoting these choices, the government aims to support broader environmental protection efforts and reduce the national impact on the ozone layer.
