Meal kit company Goodfood seeks creditor protection, may sell business

Montreal-based meal kit company Goodfood Market Corp. has initiated steps to seek creditor protection by filing an application with the Superior Court of Quebec. The legal move is designed to shield the company from creditors to whom it currently owes money.

In tandem with the court filing, the company is exploring potential business sales and investment opportunities. Goodfood aims to utilize the restructuring process to secure a new owner or obtain financial backing to stabilize its operations.
