Metro eliminates transfer at María Montez station for passengers

Starting this Sunday, passengers traveling from Los Alcarrizos on the Santo Domingo Metro are no longer required to transfer at the María Montez station, located at kilometer 9 of the Duarte Highway. This change streamlines the commute for riders continuing their journey along the line.

The removal of this transfer point eliminates a previous requirement for passengers moving between the Los Alcarrizos sector and the rest of the metro system. The adjustment is intended to simplify transit operations at the María Montez station.
