Michigan synagogue Temple Israel reopens after attempted terror attack

Temple Israel, a synagogue located in the Detroit area of Michigan, has officially reopened six months after it was targeted in an attempted terrorist attack. The reopening comes just in time for the Jewish high holidays following extensive rebuilding efforts to repair parts of the facility that were destroyed.

In March, a man drove a vehicle loaded with explosives into the building. According to investigators, the perpetrator was the only fatality in the incident, having killed himself during the attack.
