Saudi Aramco halts October crude deliveries to some European refiners after pipeline attack, says report

Saudi Aramco has suspended October crude oil deliveries to certain European refiners following an attack on the East-West pipeline. The affected customers, who normally receive regular monthly supplies under long-term agreements, have been forced to alter their procurement plans due to the disruption.

In response to the halted shipments, European buyers are actively seeking alternative energy sources. Notably, Poland’s Orlen has turned to the market to replace the missing Saudi imports, with traders reporting that the refiner has purchased North Sea grades to compensate for the supply shortfall.
