Ministry of Education: More than 400,000 families benefited from the Bono a Mil program

The Dominican Republic's Ministry of Education (Minerd) announced that the government has provided financial support to 483,862 families through the 'Bono a Mil' initiative. The program involved a total investment of 1.251 billion pesos to assist households with educational expenses.

The initiative is designed to incentivize school attendance and support the continued enrollment of students within the national education system. The details of the distribution were confirmed by the Minister of Education on Monday.
