Ministry of Environment announces reopening of Valle Nuevo

The Ministry of Environment of the Dominican Republic announced the reopening of Valle Nuevo National Park to the public on Friday. The park had been closed for several days following a forest fire that impacted the protected area.

Authorities confirmed the reopening after successfully controlling the forest fire that occurred in the zone, allowing visitors to return to the park.
