Nepal urges caution as river overflows its banks.

Nepal has issued warnings for extreme caution following a fresh surge in the water level of the Bhote Koshi river. The river had previously experienced a massive swell on Wednesday, resulting in a disaster that has left more than 580 people dead and nearly 2,500 missing.

Simultaneously, across the border in the Tibet region of China, authorities suspended rescue operations on Friday. The suspension was ordered due to the high risk of new flash floods and landslides, following a deadly disaster that impacted the border area with Nepal and left hundreds of people still missing.

The concurrent disasters and rising river levels have heightened emergency responses in the region, as state media and international reports highlight the severe ongoing threats posed by blocked waterways and unstable terrain.
