Nissin Foods, the inventor of instant noodles, has successfully launched a new category of cup noodles in Japan that can be prepared using cold water rather than requiring a kettle.

Available in Spicy Kimchi and Chicken Salt Lemon flavors, the product has proven to be a major commercial hit, with initial supplies selling out completely within a week of hitting store shelves.
