North Korea and Russia open first road bridge linking both countries

Russia and North Korea have officially opened the first road bridge linking the two countries, spanning across the shared border along the Tumen River. The infrastructure project is designed to facilitate the easier movement of cargo, passengers, personnel exchanges, and tourism between the two nations.

According to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the new transport link is expected to provide a powerful boost to the further development of bilateral trade, economic, technological, scientific, and cultural cooperation.
