NSCDC dismisses two personnel for firearms proliferation, exonerates mining marshal commander

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has dismissed two personnel following an investigation into the proliferation of firearms. The disciplinary action concludes a probe into internal misconduct within the organization.

Simultaneously, the corps has officially exonerated the Mining Marshals Commander, John Onoja. The commander had been under scrutiny regarding allegations involving the diversion of N2 billion and the circumstances surrounding the death of personnel Levi Agada in Nasarawa State. The exoneration clears the commander of involvement in these specific controversies.
