The Dutch government has formally criticized the honors bestowed upon convicted war criminal Ratko Mladic during his funeral in Belgrade. Officials in The Hague described the state-sanctioned tribute as deeply painful for the victims of his crimes and asserted that such support is fundamentally incompatible with European values.
