Users rate the first day of the Metro without transfers as positive

This Monday marked the first day of complete operation for the extension of Line 2C of the Santo Domingo Metro, connecting Los Alcarrizos directly to the María Montez station at kilometer 9 of the Duarte Highway.

With the removal of the previous requirement to transfer at the María Montez station, passengers traveling from Los Alcarrizos are now able to reach their destinations without changing trains, resulting in estimated time savings of up to 20 minutes per journey.

Commuters and passengers reacted favorably to the implementation of the direct route during its opening day, highlighting the positive impact of the streamlined service on their daily transit times.
