Plasterers head to school in search of new blood

Professional plasterers in Japan are visiting schools to provide students with hands-on experience in the trade. This initiative aims to recruit new workers into the industry, which has faced a significant labor shortage in recent years.

The outreach effort is a response to a sharp decline in the workforce, with the total number of plasterers in the country having decreased by more than 50 percent over the past two decades.
