A 3-year-old child was seriously injured Wednesday evening in New Hampshire after being hit by gunfire from a firearm the child accidentally triggered, according to police. Around 6:30 p.m., Hooksett, New Hampshire, police responded to a report that an accidental shooting had happened inside a car parked in a driveway, police said. The child was taken to Elliot Hospital in Manchester and later flown by medical helicopter to a Boston hospital.
