The state leadership of the Labor Party (PT) in Chihuahua has publicly rejected the designation of Cruz Pérez Cuéllar as the coordinator for the Defense of the Transformation and National Sovereignty within the entity. The PT distanced itself from the appointment, asserting that the selection made by Morena remains contested and demanding that a coalition poll be conducted instead to determine the position.

Simultaneously, at the national level, Morena's leadership published the polling results used to select its defenders of the Fourth Transformation across states holding gubernatorial elections next year. The release followed the completion of 17 state coordinator appointments, with Morena making public the survey data for 16 of those internal selection processes.
