Raquel Peña laments the deaths of babies at La Altagracia Maternity Hospital

Vice President Raquel Peña confirmed the deaths of at least three newborns at the Maternidad Nuestra Señora de La Altagracia due to a bacterial infection. Speaking on Thursday, the vice president expressed her condolences regarding the fatalities.

In response to the incident, Peña announced that the government is actively addressing the situation through the Ministry of Public Health.
