Another suspect in the death of a community member from Los Alcarrizos turns himself in

On Friday, another suspect surrendered to authorities in connection with the fatal shooting of community leader and Dominicanos por el Cambio (DXC) party member José Frank Valerio. The incident occurred in the Hato Nuevo sector of the municipality of Los Alcarrizos, located in the Dominican Republic.

The individual who turned himself in to law enforcement has been identified as José Enrique Corniel Jerez. This development follows the ongoing investigation into the violent death of Valerio, who was well-known locally for his community leadership and political affiliation.
