Panamanian private sector calls on the political class for “transparency, participation and deliberation” on the issue of electoral reforms

The Government Commission of the National Assembly of Panama approved in a first debate a series of substantive changes to the Electoral Code during a session that extended into the night.

Following this legislative action, the Panamanian private sector publicly called on the political class for transparency, participation, and deliberation regarding the electoral reforms.
