The National Health Service (NHS) and the CMD are coordinating efforts to improve services

Officials from the Servicio Nacional de Salud (SNS) and the Colegio Médico Dominicano (CMD) are coordinating efforts to improve healthcare services in the Dominican Republic. As part of these discussions, the SNS stated that every Primary Care Center is equipped with an assistant physician responsible for overseeing daily activities.

This assertion by public health authorities directly contrasts with previous claims made earlier in the year by the political opposition party Fuerza del Pueblo, which has publicly disputed the operational consistency and staffing levels of these primary care facilities.
