Shackled Tate brothers take stand in court asking to be released from jail during extradition fight

Social media influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate appeared in a Miami federal court on Thursday, shackled and seeking release from custody. The brothers have been held in a federal detention center since their July 18 arrest, which stems from pending rape and human trafficking charges in the United Kingdom. Their legal team is requesting that they be granted freedom while they contest the extradition process.

Tristan Tate additionally cited concerns regarding the quality of his diet and a lack of privacy while detained.
