Spanish NGOs activate their emergency committee to support and assist Nepal

Following a devastating massive flooding disaster in the Himalayas along the border with China, Nepalese authorities have recovered 162 bodies, with casualties heavily concentrated in the regions of Chitwan, Dhading, and Nawalparasi Este, while over 500 people remain missing.

In response to the crisis, the Spanish Emergency Committee, which includes prominent organizations such as Action Against Hunger, Oxfam Intermón, and Doctors of the World, activated its emergency committee to prepare and deploy urgent humanitarian relief operations to support affected populations in Nepal.
