A glacier collapse in Tibet caused catastrophic flash flooding in a border area of China and Nepal At least 273 dead and more than 1,300 people are missing as rescue teams continued the search Thursday along the Nepal-Tibet border. At least 1,500 people are missing, many of them foreign tourists, after deadly floods hit the Nepal-Tibet border, sweeping away entire villages.

At least 270 people have died in the massive flash floods, while more than 800 others are missing.
