NewzTwo men were rushed to the hospital after a shooting in Miami. The gunfire erupted at approximately 9:53 p.m. Tuesday in the area of the 600 block of Northwest Fifth Avenue.
According to the Miami Police Department, officers responded to the scene in reference to a Shot Spotter alert.Upon arrival, police said they found two men who had been shot. Miami Fire Rescue said the men’s ages ranged between 20 and 30 and listed both in serious and critical condition. Both men were rushed by MFR crews to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Local 10 News cameras captured police appearing to focus part of their investigation on a white Mercedes sedan that appeared to have a bullet hole in the windshield. Investigators said they are working to determine the circumstances that led up to the shooting. Police did not say whether they were seeking any suspects or persons of interest.
