Teen shot by St. Louis deputy after alleged car theft charged with stealing

Prosecutors charged Sir Lou Henry Simms with stealing a 2020 Toyota Camry after the deputy left it running Tuesday in the 3600 block of Montana Street. The deputy fired two shots at the 19-year-old suspect before he crashed the vehicle, according to court documents.
