Earthquake in Colombia: Mexican celebrities who were in the country during the earthquake

On Monday, August 10, a powerful earthquake of magnitude 7.4 struck Colombia, causing widespread damage to buildings, landslides, and an escalating number of fatalities. The tremor was felt across a broad area of the country as well as in neighboring territories. Among those present in the country during the event were several Mexican celebrities.

According to geological experts, the seismic event originated at a depth between 90 and 120 kilometers within the Nazca plate, which accounts for the extensive geographic reach of the shaking. Seismologists from the National Seismological Network noted that this tectonic origin differs from that of recent earthquakes in Venezuela, despite the two events sharing similar magnitudes.
