Barlis Marina Rada Ortiz, a 34-year-old woman, has been placed in preventive detention following an incident in Ciénaga, Magdalena, where she allegedly attempted to strangle her three children after an argument with her partner. One of the children managed to escape the scene and alert a neighbor, which led to the intervention of authorities.

The accused has been formally charged with attempted aggravated homicide. During the initial legal proceedings, Rada Ortiz did not accept the charges brought against her by the court.
