Restoration work on the White House North Portico in Washington is nearing completion, with the shroud and scaffolding being taken down. Workers were seen removing the scaffolding on Tuesday.

The project is reportedly wrapping up ahead of an upcoming state visit to the United States by Chinese President Xi Jinping, which is scheduled for late September.
