Nigeria: Uber Exits Nigeria After 12 Years of Operation

Ride-hailing company Uber has announced its exit from Nigeria after operating in the country for 12 years.

In a statement regarding the departure, the company clarified that the decision to leave the Nigerian market is entirely unrelated to a recent directive issued by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) concerning e-hailing operations at the nation's airports.
