Uganda: Transport Authorities Crack Down On Unsafe Vehicles At Namirembe Road Terminal

On Tuesday, Ugandan transport authorities conducted a compliance and enforcement operation targeting unsafe vehicles at the Namirembe Road Bus Terminal. The joint operation was carried out by the Ministry of Works and Transport, the Uganda Police Force, and the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA).

The crackdown is part of broader ongoing efforts to improve safety standards within Uganda's public transport sector. By inspecting vehicles at the terminal, authorities aim to address risks associated with unroadworthy public transport.
