Ukraine hits more Wildberries sites as strike kills five in Moscow region

Overnight on Monday into Tuesday, Ukrainian drone strikes hit multiple Russian warehouses operated by Wildberries, Russia’s largest online retailer often referred to as the "Russian Amazon," resulting in five deaths in the Moscow region according to local officials.

MyJoyOnline reported that two Wildberries warehouses were struck alongside another apparently linked site near Moscow, noting that Ukraine has targeted facilities operated by the company in recent weeks. Free Malaysia Today added that the overnight attacks hit three warehouses in total, part of an expanded Ukrainian long-range drone strategy that has targeted close to 20 Wildberries sites since July 18 to intensify pressure on Russia.

The escalation highlights an ongoing shift in strategy as Ukrainian drone operations increasingly focus on major commercial logistics and retail infrastructure within Russian territory.
