Seoul seeks apology after Ukraine 'breached' confidentiality agreement over transfer of North Korean POWs

Relations between Ukraine and South Korea have deteriorated following a dispute over the handling of North Korean prisoners of war. South Korea has accused Ukrainian authorities of violating a confidentiality agreement regarding the transfer of these detainees.

In addition to breaching the confidentiality terms, Seoul alleges that Ukraine has denied the very existence of the transfer deal. As a result of these actions, the South Korean government has officially demanded an apology from Ukraine.
