United Nigeria Airlines, Air Peace report losses as aviation union suspends strike

Aviation unions in Nigeria suspended an industrial action on Tuesday that caused widespread operational disruptions across the domestic airline sector. The strike led to significant flight cancellations and scheduling challenges for major carriers operating within the country.

Air Peace and United Nigeria Airlines reported substantial impacts resulting from the work stoppage. Air Peace estimated its financial losses at over ₦2 billion, while United Nigeria Airlines confirmed that more than 30 of its scheduled flights were disrupted during the period of the industrial action.
