Vancouver Aquatic Centre 25m rebuild a First Nation’s land claim issue: Park Board chair

Vancouver Park Board Chair has stated that the rebuilding of the Vancouver Aquatic Centre's 25-metre pool involves a First Nation's land claim issue.

Previously, the Park Board indicated that expanding the facility to accommodate a 50-metre pool would require increasing the building's footprint to comply with modern safety and competition regulations.
