5 000 more healthcare workers needed to tackle Ebola in DRC, WHO says

The World Health Organization announced on Tuesday that an additional 5,000 healthcare workers are required to combat the ongoing Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The virus, described as highly contagious, was officially detected in the country in mid-May.
