Supreme Court overturns tariffs and issues refunds in the US

Following a decision by the United States Supreme Court earlier this year to invalidate the majority of tariffs implemented by the administration, the federal government has issued approximately $100,000 million in refunds.

According to judicial documents accessed on Wednesday by the AFP, the total amount refunded thus far accounts for roughly six percent of the overall financial impact or context surrounding the tariff measures, as detailed in the court filings.
