The Portuguese government reduces to three the number of nationals missing after the flash flood in Nepal

Following a massive flash flood that struck the border region between northern Nepal and southwestern Tibet, governments have reported updates regarding their missing nationals. The Portuguese government announced it has reduced its number of missing citizens from four to three after locating one person alive and safe away from the disaster area.

Simultaneously, the Italian government confirmed that it is searching for three of its own citizens following the disaster. Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani expressed condolences for the victims of the flooding, which devastated the border region between Nepal and Tibet.
