Two contacts of the French-Argentine tourist with hantavirus are added to the isolation in Spain

Two close contacts of a Franco-Argentine tourist who tested positive for hantavirus have joined him in isolation in Galicia, in northwestern Spain. The initial sample confirming the virus was collected in France a few days prior to the isolation.

All three individuals, none of whom are local residents, are currently reported to be asymptomatic while remaining quarantined together in a private residence in the Spanish region.
