Tanzania targets more value from natural gas

Tanzania is moving to transform its natural gas resources into higher-value products, including fertiliser and petrochemicals, according to announcements from Dodoma.

As part of this initiative, the country is preparing major investments such as a multibillion-dollar Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project. These efforts are designed to expand Tanzania's presence in international markets by moving beyond the raw export of natural gas.
